Johmar is a proven technology leader with over 20 years experience in designing and leading business technology transformations, building and coaching high performance leaders and teams, and delivering value.  

Johmar uses his experience and unique insight in today’s increasingly demanding and challenging business landscape to help organisations, leaders and teams advance their transformation. He does this by working with teams to elevate the performance of their technology, strategy, governance and delivery. Johmar’s passion is to help individuals and teams reach their full potential to gain clarity on how to achieve their goals whilst building an effective and high performing culture.

Johmar has held several divisional CIO roles at leading financial services organisations including National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  His experience spans across consumer banking, business banking, wealth management, international financial services and digital in Sydney, Melbourne and Asia.  Prior to joining the banking industry, Johmar worked as a management consultant with Accenture in the technology domain across several clients including Westpac, AMP, MLC and Standard Chartered Bank, Hong Kong.  Johmar started his career with IBM Australia as a software engineer after graduating from the University of Technology with a degree in Computer Science.
